Backstory
Captain Carolanne Burke is a former Captain in the UEP Starfleet. She is the commanding officer of the MRV Aquila. During her time in the UEP starfleet, she served as a science officer on a variety of UEP outposts and starships. Four years ago, her husband, Cmdr. Maxwell Burke of the ISS Equinox was killed when the crew mutinied on a deep-space mission. She later learned that his death was actually an execution order issed by UEP High command. When she learned the truth about her husband's death, she decided to strike back against the UEP by defecting to the Neo-Maquis. When the Neo-Maquis cell on Acadia Prime was destroyed, she and her crew, along with her family and the survivors of the cell on Acadia Prime, fled from the UEP's universe to Maquis Universal. She and her crew, along with her family and other civillians from the Neo-Maquis now reside on the space station Maquis Universal.
Interacting With MU
Since Carolanne and her crew have left the UEP, fitting in with the Maquis Universal has not been easy. Upon their arrival they were interrogated by Kairal N'Tori and Rantal Mirok about their involvement with the UEP. Recently, Carolanne has been made CAG (Commander, Air Group) of MU Snowbird Squadron. She also retains command of the MRV Aquila as part of MU Defence Force.
