Originally cam to U.E.P. looking for new trade routes. Established a trading outpost at the U.E.P. station. Having just been recently divorced from his ex-wife Captain Q. moved to the station with his two young sons Mic'y and Wil'am. While there he managed to attract the attention of KomtoK's adopted daughter Nightshade. In his efforts to woe her he was told by her sister K'Taron that the price for Nightshade's hand in marriage would be nine ships of latinum. While this was stated as a way to prevent him from every meeting that goal, Erc did. Even though KomtoK would have settled for 1000 bars, Erc' 9 ships full of latinum secured his new position as Grand Nagus. He served in this office for many years before retiring to Enigmalia and establishing the Erc Ranch. About 10 years after moving Erc's good friend Eugene Boring suffered an attack in his secondary heart. The attack caused serious damage and the only option was a transplant or an artificial heart. The doctor gave Eugene a 75% chance of surviving a transplant and only 15% with an artificial one. Being younger and stronger Erc gave Gene his secondary heart taking the artificial one for himself. Roughly 20 years after that Erc suffered his own primary heart attack. While not fatal if has caused him to change his habits, however reluctantly. After the deaths of his daughters Erc followed a new passion and turned his Ranch into an orphanage for children who's parents were killed in war. He adopted two boys from the first batch but currently host almost 400 orphans.
Military Experience
Served in the FCA Economic corp. Started as an egnineer in a tramp freighter and worked his way to DaiMon of a Marauder. A Ferengi Marauder is a combination of a freighter and a warship. As the latter, it is nearly a match to a Federation Galaxy class.
