Backstory
Jordan Alexander is the Federation Councillor from the United Martian Colonies to the Federation Council. He is the son of Lyta Alexander, a noted xenobotanist and Byron Gordon, professor of of xenotheology at the University of Syria Planum on Mars. He is also the partner of Starfleet Captain Banon Yost and the father of Nirgal and Natasha Alexander.
Childhood
2377 CE
- Jordan Alexander is born to Lyta Alexander and Byron Gordon in Syria Planum Colony on Mars.
2389 CE
- Jordan turns twelve. He accompanies his family on his first trip offworld to Vulcan. While there, he becomes briefly facinated with Vulcan culture.
Adolescence
2391 CE
- Jordan turns fourteen and promptly becomes a moody, brooding teenager, which drives Lyta and Byron crazy. He later tells Banon Yost that 'these were his most difficult years'.
2393 CE
- Jordan turns sixteen. He slowly begins to 'come out of his shell' and tells his parents that the reasons for his depression was due to a failed relationship with another boy.
2395 CE
- Jordan turns eighteen. With his parents encouragement, he decides to study at the University of Syria Planum Colony on Mars.
Young Adulthood
2397 CE
- Jordan begins a relationship with Rory Quinn, son of an Federation represenative.
2399 CE
- Jordan graduates from the University of Syria Planum on Mars with a Masters in Interstellar Business and Xenopolitics. He begins working for A'alakon-Landis Inc. Later that year, he works for Bank of Andor.
2401 CE
- Jordan is hired by Chiokis Starship Construction. While working for them, he has a short affair with Sebastian Kavandi. The relationship ends when Jordan learns Sebastian is a rival in a business negotiation.
2403 CE - Jordan secures a lucrative business deal between Daystrom Data Concepts and the Federation. Later that year, he is hired by Melody Sawyer, captain of the survey ship Xeno and they discover the fabled resourse rich asteroid 'Bonanza'.
2405 CE
- Jordan meets Starfleet Commander Banon Yost when he is assigned to Mars's Utopia Planitia Shipyards. The two begin a somewhat turbulent relationship.
Adulthood
2407 CE
- Banon proposes marriage to Jordan. At first, Jordan turns him down but later decides to accept when they become trapped in a turbolift during an power outage on the Utopia Planitia Station. Jordan and Banon marry. Jordan and Banon relocate to Syria Planum Colony on Mars. Jordan goes to work for the Mars Colonial Government and Banon is promoted to Captain and assumes command of the USS Valkyrie.
2409 CE
- Nirgal Alexander and Natasha Alexander are born in Syria Planum Colony on Mars to Jordan and Banon.
2411 CE
- Jordan is appointed Councillor to the Federation Council by Mars Colony Governor Richard Adar.
2413 CE
- Jordan discovers he has the first signs of Sakuro's disease.
2415 CE
- Jordan makes his first trip to Maquis Universal.
Interacting With MU

Jordan's relationship with MU can best be describes as tense but respectful. Many on the station see him as an "annoying outsider". While he has made some headway with some of the station residents, they are leery of him because of his position with the Federation.
