Relative Notes: Titus Pullo's mother was a slave who died when he was young, and he never knew his father, though he assumes his father was also a slave. It is safe to say that the Magna Roman army is the only family Pullo has really known.
Backstory
Centurion Titus Pullo was once a soldier in the Magna Roman Army who fought in many campaigns while he was in the service of that world's 13th. Legion. His fellow legionaire is Lucius Vorenus with whom he has a strong friendship with. He and Lucius Vorenus were the only survivors in their legion after an UEP invasion of their world in 2410,. After their world was captured by the Empire, Pullo and Vorenus escaped Magna Roma and fled for the rimward colonies where they worked as mercenaries, hit men and in one case, smugglers on Aventinus Secundus. Life was good for Pullo for the first time after the invasion of Magna Roma - he had taken a wife, Eirene and was expecting a child. What he did not know was that the UEP was right behind them. Aventinus Secundus was invaded by the UEP and Eirene was killed in the attack. Once again, Pullo and Vorenus was on the run again, this time their path leading to Acadia Prime, where they linked up with the Neo-Maquis. Their first and last battle in the Neo-Maquis was the successful raid on the UEP prison facility on PQR-171. When they were on their way back to Acadia Prime, they learned that world was destroyed by the UEP. They escaped with the crew of the MRV Aquila to seek out the legendary Maquis Universal.
Interacting With MU
Pullo is a friendly, upbeat, devil-may-care soldier with the morals of a pirate, the appetites of a hedonist, and a seeming total lack of personal responsibility, who has discovered the hidden ideals and integrity within himself. He gets on extraordinarily well with the "common" elements of MU Station but his behaviour is often a source of criticism by others. The one thing he is the most steady about, is his job in security. Most people would assume that Pullo's appearance may maean he's sloppy at his job but that would be a fatal error on their part.
